The main objectives of the ILO are to promote rights at work, promote decent employment opportunities, improve social protection and strengthen dialogue on work-related issues and it is precisely because of this involvement in terms of removing barriers in disabilities, is part of the DHUB partnership network.
To learn more about the organization, we caught up with Stephan Trömel, senior Disability Specialist at the International Labor Organization, in order to know more about the challenges the organization faces in creating a global workplace culture that is respectful and welcoming.
His goal is to ensure that employment policies and practices in companies of all kinds are inclusive of people with disabilities around the world, working to raise awareness of the positive relationship between disability inclusion and business success.
